The Co-Processor Filing System is started with *CPFS and we can get a catalogue using *. as always, which lets us know that there are 364K available with a 128K printer buffer.
The Tube is switched off, of course, otherwise the 512K RAM on the 80186 co-processor board would be in use! The purpose, then of CPFS is to use the Master 512's RAM as a combined RAM disc and printer buffer.
I must admit, I've never really understood the point of printer buffers on Beebs - when are you ever likely to print a 128K document?!
