As far as possible, I like to preserve the contents of hard discs when I take custody of new machines. This shows the root directory on the Winchester disc inside my A420/1 and we can instantly see that it contains 1st Word Plus, Acorn DTP, Genesis, the function of which I can't remember, and a directory called PC for the PC emulator.
