At the back of the Compact, we have a selection of connectors: RGB, composite video, RS 232 (instead of the more usual RS 423), Econet, Joystick/Mouse (a 9-pin D-type socket), printer (a Centronics type connection), disc drive connector (37-way D-type) and the power input.

Apart from the expansion slot on the side, these are the only connections on the Master Compact, so there is no 1 MHz Bus, Tube, user port or TV aerial.
