This is the front panel of the Acorn Winchester Disc shown in more detail. The space for the L.E.D. next to the "Winchester Disc 130" legend is not used and instead there is a round LED bolted between two ventilation slots in the middle of the panel.
The Acorn Winchester Disc came in two forms, the 110 and the 130. The 110 has a 10MB hard disc and this 130 has a 30MB hard disc. That was pretty good going for 1984 when these things came out but pales into insignificance when you think that nowadays a memory card the size of a postage stamp can hold over 60 times as much data!
Well, I know which I prefer!
