BeebMaster - Reviving the Acorn Winchester Disc

Reviving the
Acorn Winchester Disc

If you have seen my first attempt at making a Double Winchester Disc, then you'll know that I used a Miniscribe drive and a Fujitsu one. I decided to keep the Fujitsu drive as it was a 40MB unit, but I've replaced the Miniscribe 20MB drive with a Rodime 40MB one.

However, I've kept the enclosure from the Miniscribe drive which will come in very handy.

Also shown here are the cables required. We've already got the control cables on the Adaptec board but now we need a power splitter cable, data cable, and an additional edge card connector for the data cable.

Oh, and two bits of cardboard.
