I thought this might help - page &82 is the ASCII Implemented Operating Definitions page. You might expect this to mean a list of the supported operating definitions, with the data perhaps being in ASCII format. You'd be wrong. Here we've got some more model and make information - including the revelation that this Compaq drive also answers to IBM!
The reason is that although page &82 is supposed to be about implemented operating definitions, the SCSI specification says that the data returned by this page isn't defined!
