BeebMaster - Using the Revived the Acorn Winchester Disc

Using the Revived
Acorn Winchester Disc

The Adaptec Controller uses MFM encoding, which means we get 33 sectors per track at 256 bytes per sector. The Fujitsu disc itself is an RLL disc, which means we could have squeezed 47 sectors per track out of it if we had been using an RLL controller. 8 heads usually means 4 disc platters, which is pretty good going for Winchesters of this vintage.
