Monday 3rd June 2012 was the day of the Diamond Jubilee concert outside Buckingham Palace, set in a special arena created around the Victoria Memorial, followed by the lighting of the National Beacon by Her Majesty The Queen at the conclusion of the concert.

The idea was to get to the Mall late afternoon/early evening and watch the proceedings from there, so there was a bit of time earlier in the day for a scout round. Please click on the picture links above to learn more.
