Picture Quality

BeebMaster is a very image-intensive website. There are a few pages you will find which contain swathes of text but by far the predominant format is a main image from a series of pictures, with accompanying text. I decided on this format when I was designing the BeebMaster layout in the spring of 2003 and I've stuck to it like glue ever since. It's simple and it's accessible. You can see what I'm doing in the picture and the text beneath explains things in more detail.

I suppose when I think about it, I have built up a pretty huge collection of Acorn and Beeb memorabilia, and I find this layout the best way to show you what I've got and explain what it's for or how it works. In fact, some of the pictures on my website are the only images anywhere on the Tinter-Web of the item in question.

It is very important to me, therefore, that the pictures I produce are of the best possible quality. It's not always easy and I hope that you will click on the links above to learn more about some of the problems I have encountered and how I have overcome them.
