This is it, an Olivetti Prodest PC1 HD. Olivetti being Acorn's paymasters from the mid-1980s onwards, of course. In a way, it has a kind of a feel of a Master Compact, to me, except that they had the sense to combine the drive box with the keyboard box to form a single unit. In another way, the shape of it feels a bit like the A3000.

HD suggests a hard disc capability, but the spare drive slot appears to be cabled for a second floppy with it 34-way ribbon.
