Anybody who knows me also knows I am an E-Bay addict so barely a week goes by without something Beeb-related being shoved through the BeebMaster Letterbox. I end up having so much fun playing with all my new toys that I don't always get round to picturing them and putting them on my website right away. The list below is a selection of my most exciting recent acquisitions. This is intended to serve as a teaser to you and a reminder to me. As I eventually add them to the site, the headings will go red and links will appear to the items.
Prestel Adapter
I now have what I hope is a working Prestel Adapter. Unfortunately there is no plug on it so I will have to wire it up and dig my Prestel ROM out of the archives before I can get it tested.
Morley Electronics Teletext Adapter
This is a potentially very exciting thing, different in a lot of ways from Acorn's Teletext Adapter. I haven't even tested it yet so it may be a while before it appears!
Acorn Music 500
This is one of the early computer-controlled music synthesisers. As with so many of my new things, I haven't tested it as yet: I need to get some speakers connected up to it and get hold of the software to control it.
Acorn A4000
I bought a couple of A4000 base units and then a couple of keyboards and mice so that I can get them working fully.
BBC B+ 128K
This one is complete with the official Acorn 64K daughterboard but unfortunately it seems to have a bit of problem with the disc interface.
Acorn Electron Plus 1
I bought a second Electron just a week after the first, this time with Plus 1 interface!
