DOS Plus Econet - Free Space Error
Eventually I twigged that the DOS Plus dir problem was related to user free space, not overall disc free space. In the dir command, if the directory is empty, it doesn't go as far as reporting free space, so that's why the command didn't fall over when there were no files in DOS or Drive_D.
PiFS is reporting 512MB of free space for the DOS user.
