It was a bit grubby when it arrived, my new American BBC Model B. I don't often do a lot of Beeb cleaning; somehow a bit of grime and some yellowing of the case is all part of the story of a BBC micro. I thought a scrub up was called for here, though, for two reasons. Firstly, my recollection of my original 1990s Beeb is that it was in immaculate condition, so I wanted to bring my new one up to scratch a bit. Secondly, I'd decided by this time that I was going to take my new Beeb to the 2013 Wakefield RISC-OS show, so I thought a bit of sprucing was in order.
