There are 2 VGA switches. The bottom one chooses which input goes to the video, the A305 or A420/1.
The top one chooses which video source is to be used. Only the monitor is connected up at this point. The spare socket is for an alternative video output for screen capture. This ended up with a SCART lead so I could feed it into my DVD recorder, which used to be a bit nearer Archimedes corner in the old BeebRoom. I haven't worked out yet how I might do Archimedes video capture in the new setup.
