This is going to be done in serial mode, which is slightly quicker than communicating via SCSI, and it means I don't have to use the "Master AIV" if I don't want to. First commands are to spin up the disc with a Standby-Load instruction, and then read the frame number to check that we are in still mode at frame 1.
