The TARDIS Tent is long gone, but here's me standing outside it in front of our pebbledash garage in about 1984 or 1985.

I think I could fit inside it comfortably enough when it arrived, but certainly by the time this picture was taken, I had outgrown it.

It is, or was, a home-assembled plastic frame with a PVC covering over it to form the TARDIS shape, and an inflatable (but not flashing) light.

Inside, on the far wall, a console was painted, and there are some nice features such as the correct wording on the telephone door, but the colour is completely wrong, nothing like Prussian Blue (which incidentially is the colour of ink I always use.)

The biggest problem, though, with the TARDIS Tent was that it was the same size inside and out.
