There have been many Doctor Who box sets over the years, and the selection here merely scratches the surface. Some of the tapes in my collection which you have already seen were originally part of box sets but broken up and sold off separately by the original owners.

The TV film on the bottom row was bought for me one Christmas. I watched this "revival" of Doctor Who when it was first broadcast in May 1996 with increasing degrees of horror and despair as the scale of the travesty unfolded. It instantly reversed my opinion that Doctor Who should be brought back to the opinion I have held ever since - that Dr. Who should never, ever return in any form to our screens and that only disaster and devastation would result if it ever did. I can't speak for what the BBC have been attempting since Easter 2005 since I haven't seen any of it - by choice - but I fear that I was right all along.
