This is the beginning of run-time mode, which starts in one of three ways: at the end of the test sequence, after answering Yes to the run-mode question we saw earlier, or when switching the key from admin mode to run mode.

The BEN, like the SJ Econet Bridge, will only begin to function when it's happy with the Clock situation. Here one of the clock tests has failed, which I think is because the BEN is not connected to a Nexus network, so we can't get any further.
