Prototype Real-Time Clock LEDs
Now it's plugged back into Station 201's user port via the extension ribbon cable I made for this purpose.
Taking photographs of illuminated LEDs is a skill which has always eluded me, so I've put a short video of the LED operation here.
The green LED is connected to the seconds pin, so it flashes once a second.The amber LED is connected to the minutes pin, and it lights up for 30 seconds and then goes off for 30 seconds.The red LED is connected to the data pin, and it lights up when data communications are happening between the clock chip and the user port.
