SJ Research
Econet Bridge
Clock

The SJ Research Econet Bridge Clock is the most user-friendly of all. It works on the same principle as the SJ Clock, setting the mark and period, and also has predefined settings for optimum use with BBC micro, Archimedes and MDFS.
The Clock speed is set by using the buttons on the front to scroll through the options. There is also a setting to disable the Bridge's clock in the event that network "A" of the two networks being bridged already has its own clock.
The SJ Research Bridge will detect clock signals on the two networks being bridged. If a clock signal is detected on network "A" and the Bridge is generating a clock, it will report an error and not proceed. Similarly, if there is no Clock signal detected on either or both of the bridged networks, an error will result and the Bridge will stop until the fault is corrected.
Another feature of the SJ Bridge is that it will not allow an illegal clock speed to be set, ie. a period shorter than the mark. The Bridge will report this as an error and will stop until a legal setting is selected.
