Using the Byte-Back
Compact Flash Drive
This is one part which isn't supplied with the CF Drive kit - the compact flash memory cards themselves. These Retroclinic drives are dual drives, so they support two compact flash cards.
4GB of flash memory per card might sound like overkill for a 8-bit micro, and indeed it is, but at the time I bought these cards, they were on special offer and cheaper than the 2GB size.
I've been told that some Compact flash cards aren't compatible with this drive, but I can highly recommend these Kingston ones, they have never given me any trouble and I now have about 6 or 8 of them.
