And now the chapter counter. Frame numbers begin at 1, but chapter numbers can begin at zero. Usually when "CNR 0" is displayed on the VP406, it means that there are no chapters on the disc. Later players use a "--" symbol instead on discs which are unchaptered. In this case, though, we do know that the disc contains chapters, but this point is still the introduction which is chapter zero.
