The Retroclinic area was one of the biggest setups in the Executive room, and here is one of the super-upgraded Masters that are a speciality of Retroclinic.

It has a Turbo co-processor, Econet, dual switchable 3.20 and 3.50 MOS ROMs, an external Compact Flash hard drive and Hybrid Music 5000 synthesiser.

The Compact Flash Hard Drive is a little marvel. Unlike some of the other memory-card storage devices for the Beebs, this one functions as if it were an actual Winchester disc, except the storage medium is a compact flash card, instead of some clattering old disc platters. So, it connects to the 1MHz Bus and uses ADFS - although a special version of ADFS is needed to access the drive. There are slots for two cards, and each card can be partitioned into two logical drives of up to 512MB, so it has a maximum capacity of 4GB over four drives.

That's probably enough for everything ever written for the Beeb!
