Econet Party 2024
One of the utilities written for the Econet party is "WhoAmI". This works out how the local station advertises itself on the Econet. This is because with multiple station different locations, every individual Econet would need a separate network number, and there might not be enough to accommodate everyone eventually who wants to join the international Econet using Pi Econet Bridges. Therefore, there are main Pi Bridges operating which do station number translation for any new machine which appears on any net. This system then allocates a network number, within a small range of numbers being used for the Econet Party, and a station number, so that every machine a unique address.
