BeebMaster - Econet Station 200

Station 200
BBC Master 128

This picture shows all the ROMs inside Station 200. It came with Wordwise Plus fitted. This was an extended version of the earlier Wordwise with its own programming language and segment menu for writing little programmes like sorting lists of data into alphabetical order.

All my BBC Masters have ADT and ANFS fitted. This machine also has Hi-BASIC in ROM slot 3 for use with the co-processor. I have Station 200 configured to language 12, ie. normal BASIC but I can switch to Hi-BASIC when the Tube is running by typing *FX142,3.

Hi-BASIC uses the additional RAM on the co-processor board to increase the amount of user memory available. Page is set at 2048 and HIMEM is 47104 in all modes. Hi-BASIC is supplied as a ROM image on the 65C102 Co-Processor Support disc but I decided to put it on a ROM. The support disc also contains Hi-Edit, View and a Buffer utility to allow the main RAM to be used as a huge (well, 20K) printer buffer.
