The ribbon cable leads to a user port connector plus an auxiliary power connector, which in this case, is missing.
I don't think it has ever been explained why Morley chose to interface their teletext adapter through the User Port when there is space reserved by Acorn for Teletext within the 1MHz bus memory map.
