As they are sharing the keyboard, I needed a way of not having to unplug the connector from the machines' motherboards all the time. As far as I know, a PS/2 type switch allowing one input device to be switched between two outputs, doesn't exist. Nor does a splitter cable which is one female to two male. Instead I have had to use two extension cables so that they permanently live in the computer sockets.
