Revenge of the Cybermen Laserdisc

For the interested, the BBC notation had changed by 1983. Originally BBC Video titles had codes in the format BBCVgnnnF with g being a digit in the range 1-9 representing the genre of the content, nnn being a 3-digit catalogue number starting at 000 and F being the format, nothing for VHS, L for laserdisc and B for Betamax.

So this one is title number 4 (in theory) in series 2, being "drama".

I say in theory because I can only find a reference to BBCV2000, which happens to be "Blake's 7" and doesn't appear to have come out on laserdisc - so "Revenge" is not only the first Dr Who release, it also appears to be the very first drama release on laserdisc, after the Beeb finally sorted out their copyright problems with Equity and could release drama and entertainment shows on home video instead of specially-produced documentary.

By the time "Revenge of the Cybermen" came out, the laserdisc notation changed slightly to BBCLgnnn, so the code for this laserdisc is BBCL2003 rather than BBCV2003L.
